Meet Me: The Hiker, Camper, Adventurer, and Goofball Extraordinaire

Hey there, friends! I'm Josh, your friendly local hiker, camper, adventurer, and all-around goofball. Buckle up, because you're about to embark on a wild journey through the quirks and trails of my life. If you're a fan of good laughs, breathtaking scenery, and stories that occasionally involve getting lost in the woods, you my friend, are in the right place!

The Adventure Side:

Let's talk adventure. From the moment I could walk, I've been itching to explore the great outdoors. I come from that old age where I spent my childhood outside of the house. Me and my 3 brothers were always getting into new adventures... and trouble. Whether it be paddling down a serene river, or trudging through a muddy forest during a thunderstorm, I'm there with bells on. Not actual bells – that would scare away all the wildlife, and all of my photo opportunities.

I've got a backpack that's seen more miles than your mom (JK, jk), filled with everything from a trusty knife to an emergency supply of marshmallows (because you never know when you might need them s'mores!). When it comes to adventure, I'm your guy. Just don't ask me to do math in the wilderness. My brain is wired for cool looking rocks, giant trees to climb, and campfire stories for DAAAAYS, not simple equations.

The Camper Side:

Camping? Oh, you bet! I've mastered the art of setting up a tent in the dark with only so many no no words. Maybe not quite that skilled, but I can at least manage it without tripping over the guy lines too many times. There's just something about sleeping under the stars, surrounded by the soothing sounds of crickets and owls.

Of course, no camping trip is complete without some classic campfire cooking. I've turned marshmallow toasting into a competitive sport, and my friends have learned to stand clear when I start swinging that skewer like a samurai warrior. And don't get me started on my famous campfire stories – its kind of how I swooned my now wife.

The Goofball side:

Now, let's talk about my most important role: the goofball. Life's too short to take everything seriously, and I'm here to remind everyone of that fact. I've got a knack for turning ordinary moments into hilarious adventures. Whether it's slipping on a banana peel (yes, that actually happened and no, I don't want to talk about it) or telling puns that make people groan louder than a bear in the middle of hibernation, I'm always ready to bring a smile to your face. I took a few years off of this version of me (I went "corporate"), I hated it.

I firmly believe that laughter is the best trail mix for any journey.
